Nixsa Care · modular software
The management software for healthcare and social care facilities.
Modular software: you switch on the modules that suit your type of facility. Here you will find five examples of use, each with its own demo: nursing home (RSA), hospital or care hospital, private clinic, outpatient centre, home care.
Examples of use
Five types of facility. Different modules for each.
Every facility works differently: the residential fee in a nursing home, the DRG in a hospital, the quote in a clinic, the diary in an outpatient centre, the home visit. For each one Nixsa Care is configured with its own specific modules; patient records, invoicing, accounting and staff stay shared.

Modular platform
Switch on only what you need.
Choose the type of facility and see which modules switch on. The shared base is always included; the specialist modules are added on top, even of several types if you run different facilities.
Modules for your line of work
Shared base, always included
Management and groups
Several facilities, one control room.
A nursing home, a care hospital and an outpatient centre in the same group: a single login, comparable figures, shared purchasing and staff, consolidated accounts.
Tax and administration
Every facility gets paid its own way. Nixsa Care knows them all.
Fees with several payers, DRGs billed to the ASL, quotes and health funds, healthcare invoices with stamp duty, home visits: the revenue cycle starts from the work on the ward and reaches the accounts without retyping anything.
| Facility | Who pays | What is issued | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nursing homes (RSA) | The ASL for the healthcare share, the resident or a family member, the municipality for top-up support | Monthly fees from attendance, one invoice per payer, virtual stamp duty | SdI to public bodies · Sistema TS for healthcare expenses |
| Hospitals and care hospitals | The ASL and the Region for accredited admissions, self-paying patients, insurers | SDOs, DRG valuation, invoices to the ASL, discharge letters | SDO data flow · SdI · FSE |
| Private clinics | The patient, supplementary health funds, insurers with direct billing or reimbursement | Signed quotes, deposits, healthcare invoices, invoices to funds | Sistema TS · SdI to funds and insurers |
| Outpatient centres and practices | The patient, any agreements in place | VAT-exempt healthcare invoice with stamp duty, professionals' fees | Sistema TS · export for the accountant |
| Home care | The ASL for ADI home visits, private clients for paid services | Statement of home visits, invoices to the ASL and private clients | SIAD · SdI · Sistema TS |

- Bookings and remindersAppointments, tests, video calls and visits to loved ones: fewer phone calls, fewer no-shows.
- Reports, letters and documentsSigned by the facility, available to view and download at any time.
- Signatures and paymentsConsents, quotes and contracts signed on the phone; invoices paid online.
Regulations and security
Health data, handled with the rigour it demands.
Every healthcare facility holds health data, financial data and signed documents. The platform is built around these obligations, not with add-ons bolted on later.
GDPR and health data
Permissions by role and by ward, a log of every access, encryption, servers in the European Union.
Electronic signature
Administrations, reports, letters and care notes signed by whoever writes them; consents and quotes signed on a tablet or phone.
Documents with a certified date
Records, reports, invoices and contracts archived with their versions, ready for legally compliant digital preservation.
Data flows to the ASL and the Region
SDO, FAR, SIAD and the other mandatory reporting to the local health authority (ASL) and the regional health service, taken from ward data and checked for errors before submission.
FSE and Sistema TS
Discharge letters and reports sent to the Electronic Health Record (FSE); healthcare expenses sent to Sistema TS, the Italian health card system for tax-deductible medical expenses.
Clinical risk
Adverse events, falls, surgical safety checklists and restraints tracked, as required by Law 24/2017 (Gelli-Bianco) on patient safety.
Getting started
Up and running in a few weeks. Without stopping the facility.
You start with one ward, area or service and expand when the staff are ready. We take care of configuration and data migration.
- Week 1AnalysisWe get to know the facility, the modules it needs, tariffs, data flows and the software in use.
- Week 2ConfigurationWards, roles, diaries, price lists, invoicing rules, chart of accounts.
- Weeks 2–3MigrationWe import master records, current patients, appointments and history.
- Week 3TrainingOn site, by role and by shift. Short videos for those who join later.
- From week 4Assisted go-liveA month working alongside you, then ongoing support.
We run different facilities: do we need separate software for each?
No. Nixsa Care is a single platform: each facility's modules are switched on above the same base. Master records, staff, invoicing and accounting stay unified for the whole group.
Do we have to change everything at once?
No. You can start with one area, for example diary and invoicing or records and medication, and add the rest later. If you keep some of your current software for now, Nixsa Care exchanges data with it.
Does it work with our Region's rules?
Tariffs, care standards, scales, reporting data flows and invoicing rules are configured by Region and by facility, and we review them together during the initial analysis.
Is it suitable for a single medical practice too?
Yes: for a practice you switch on diary, outpatient record, reports, healthcare invoices and Sistema TS. The rest is not shown and not charged.
What if the internet goes down?
Ward workstations and staff apps keep working with the data for the shift and record activities: everything syncs when the connection returns.
Where is the data and who owns it?
The data remains yours, on servers in the European Union, with daily backups. You can export all of it at any time.
How much does it cost?
A subscription that depends on the modules switched on and on size (beds, professionals or patients), plus a one-off set-up fee. We will send you a precise proposal after an initial half-hour call.
Let's look at your facility together.
Half an hour on a video call: you tell us how you work today, and we show you the modules you need using your real cases.
